To locate the starter relay, follow the + cable from the battery terminal. Additionally, once power has been restored, you may want to check the regulator and CDI as they are electronic and therefore prone to damage on reverse polarity. Hi, Msalwasser and the usual suspects are: 1. Installation of a different camshaft.
Different exhaust system or 'STRAIGHT PIPES' 3. Faulty advance curve. Multiple carburetors not in sync. Improperly installed jet kit or wrong kit. Carburetor internal malfunction.
Fuel mixture too rich. Fuel mixture too lean. Extremely dirty air filter.
